Online classes offer benefits to professionals, people in rural areas, and military personnel. University of Phoenix online class enrollment in Utah is growing by 12% per year, with 23% taking online courses and another 20% combining online classes with their degree programs.
KSL in Salt Lake City reports a recent study found that by 2008, 1 in 10 college students will be enrolled in an online degree program.
