How do most people find jobs around the college they are going to be attending?
Let’s say you live 2 hours from the college you’re going to be going to, what is the easiest way to find a job before you move out and start attending college?

Ask around or call administration. Many times, the office will have a job listing that you can do, whether it be cafeteria work, library, the computer help desk, or even house keeping.
When I was in college, I asked the cafeteria director the very first day I arrived on campus if there was a job available. He handed me a sheet of paper with hours available, and I just wrote my name where ever I was available to work.
So, my advice to you is to ask around– perhaps call the administration office to ask for a job listing.
Also, you can look in the newspaper for local postings if you don’t want to work directly on campus.
